RA-VI-19

​​​​​Phase I of t​he nineteenth session of Regional Association VI (Europe) of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) will be held on 15 and 16 October 2024 online. 

The nineteenth session of RA VI will be held in two phases:

  • Phase I: Policy & Implementation Review will be conducted online via Zoom on 15 October 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM CEST and on 16 October 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM CEST.  This phase will focus on reporting, decision-making, the review and adoption of policy instruments.

  • Phase II: Strategic Planning & Elections is planned for October 2026, involving strategic planning, with emphasis on regional initiatives like EW4All, and elections. The RA VI Hydrology Assembly is also planned to be held back-to-back with Phase II. Details for Phase II will be provided in due course. 

The provisional agenda for Phase I and additional information will be available on the session website soon.

The tentative workplan of RA IV-19 is from 11:00 to 14:00 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) (13:00 to 16:00 Central European Summer Time (CEST)) on 15 and 16 October. A more detailed agenda will be available soon and can be accessed on the tentative workplan​ tab on the left side of this website.​

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, French, Russian, Spanish, and Arabic.
